We are returning to Derbyshire for a walk we did several years ago. The walk starts from the National Trust car park (Woodcroft car park, Post Code S11 7TY) on the Longshaw estate.

It is about 6 miles in length on paths with a short stretch of road walking. There is a bit of up and down with one steep descent so you may wish to bring walking poles if you use them.

It may be necessary to change our plans if extreme weather is forecast. In which case we would do an easier local walk. Keep a check on your email nearer the time for any changes.
